Grow 100 seeds of Symphyotrichum prenanthoides, commonly known as Crooked Stem Aster. This attractive native perennial produces clusters of soft lavender-blue daisy-like flowers that bloom from late summer through fall.

The plant gets its name from its distinctive zigzag stems that give the flowers a graceful arching appearance. Crooked Stem Aster provides valuable nectar for bees, butterflies, and other pollinators, especially late in the season when few other flowers are blooming.

It thrives in moist meadows, woodland edges, rain gardens, and naturalized landscapes.
