☀️ Growing and Care Tips

Ornamental fountain grasses generally perform best in a sunny location with well-draining soil. Water regularly while the plants establish, then adjust watering according to the variety, soil, and local weather. Many established ornamental grasses tolerate periods of dry weather, but drought tolerance varies by species and growing conditions.

Choose a planting location with enough room for the mature grass to spread and develop its natural shape. If growing in containers, select pots with drainage holes.

🌱 What to Expect

These are young starter plants, not mature landscape specimens. Their eventual height, spread, foliage color, flowering, and seasonal behavior depend on the exact species or cultivar and growing conditions.

The listing describes the plants as Black Fountain Grass, but the botanical identity should be confirmed before you rely on cultivar-specific information. Some dark-leaved fountain grasses are seasonal in colder climates rather than reliably evergreen or perennial everywhere.
