Growing and care

• Light: Full sun to partial shade. In hot climates, some afternoon shade may help prevent leaf stress.

• Soil: Use moist, well-draining soil.

• Water: Water regularly to maintain even moisture while avoiding waterlogged roots.

• Pruning: Pinching growing tips can encourage a bushier shape. Allow the plant time to recover before expecting flowers.

• Climate: The seller lists USDA Zones 9–10. In colder climates, grow in a container and protect the plant from frost; indoor overwintering may be possible with suitable light and care.

• Placement: Consider patio containers, suitable borders, or hanging baskets where the plant’s growth habit and conditions are appropriate.

Growth and flowering

With suitable light, warmth, water, and care, Abutilon can develop into a decorative flowering plant. Flowering time varies with plant maturity, growing conditions, and pruning, so a specific bloom date cannot be guaranteed.

Shipping and arrival

Your plant is carefully packaged to help protect its roots and foliage during transit. Minor leaf yellowing or temporary cosmetic stress can occur during shipping. Unpack the plant promptly, provide appropriate light and moisture, and allow it time to settle into its new environment.

Please contact the seller promptly with clear photos if your plant arrives with a significant issue, following the shop’s stated reporting policy.

Please note: This listing is for one live rooted plug plant measuring approximately 1 × 1 × 1.25 inches—not a mature potted plant or artificial decoration.
