☀️ Growing and Care Guide

• Light: Full sun is generally best for flowering.

• Soil: Choose well-draining soil. Lilacs generally prefer soil conditions that are not persistently waterlogged.

• Water: Water thoroughly after planting, then keep the soil reasonably moist while the roots establish.

• Climate: Common lilacs generally perform best where they receive suitable winter dormancy and seasonal chilling. Local performance depends on climate and cultivar.

• Planting: Plant the bare roots promptly after arrival. Spread the roots naturally and cover them with soil without leaving them exposed to drying air.

• Maintenance: Remove damaged growth as needed. Prune after flowering if shaping is necessary, avoiding unnecessary removal of next season’s flower buds.

🌸 Flowers and Mature Growth

The ‘Albert F. Holden’ name is provided by the seller; confirm that the plant matches the cultivar before relying on specific flower-color or fragrance claims.

A young plant may not flower immediately. Blooming depends on maturity, establishment, seasonal conditions, and appropriate winter chilling. Flowers are not guaranteed on arrival.
