GROWING TIPS

Camellias generally prefer well-draining, acidic soil and consistent moisture without waterlogged roots. Many grow best in partial shade or filtered light, with protection from harsh afternoon sun and drying winds. Light requirements can vary by cultivar and climate.

Water when needed to keep the root zone evenly moist, and avoid letting the plant sit in standing water. If growing in a container, use a suitable acidic potting mix and a pot with drainage holes.
