Growing and care tips

Sunlight: Choose a sunny outdoor location for best growth.

Watering: Allow the soil to drain well between waterings. Avoid keeping the roots constantly wet, particularly in cool or rainy conditions. Newly planted roots need appropriate moisture while establishing.

Soil: Well-draining soil is important. Avoid poorly drained locations where water collects around the roots.

Climate: This plant is adapted to warm conditions and can tolerate dry periods once established. Cold tolerance depends on local conditions, plant establishment, and exposure, so check suitability for your area before planting.

Placement: Its rigid, pointed leaves can cause injury. Plant it away from narrow paths, entrances, play areas, and other places where people or pets might brush against the foliage.
