Stargrass is a beautiful green aquatic stem plant that can bring natural texture and a lush appearance to freshwater aquariums. These cuttings are grown fully submerged underwater, making them a great option for aquarium hobbyists looking to add aquatic plants to a planted tank or aquascape.

🌿 What You’ll Receive

• Quantity: 3 fresh live stem cuttings

• Plant: Stargrass

• Color: Green

• Growing method: Submersed-grown underwater

• Source: Personal planted aquariums

Please note that these are fresh plant trimmings, not rooted plants. Stem length, leaf count, and overall appearance may vary with each harvest.

🐠 Why Choose Submersed-Grown Stargrass?

These plants are grown underwater in established planted tanks rather than being grown out of water. This can help reduce the transition from emersed growth to submerged aquarium conditions, although some adjustment after shipping is still possible.

Stargrass can add vibrant green color and natural detail to planted aquariums. It can be used as part of a background planting or combined with other aquatic plants to create a lush aquascape.

🌱 Planting Tips

1. Gently rinse the cuttings with clean, aquarium-safe water if needed.

2. Remove any damaged leaves.

3. Place the lower stem into suitable aquarium substrate, or use an appropriate plant weight to help hold the cutting in place.

4. Provide suitable aquarium lighting and nutrients for healthy growth.

5. Monitor the plants after introduction and remove any deteriorating material.

Growth depends on lighting, nutrients, water conditions, and the plant’s exact identity.
