GROWING AND CARE

Watering: Allow the surface of the growing medium to dry slightly before watering again. Avoid keeping the roots constantly wet, as excess moisture can lead to root problems.

Soil: Use an airy, well-draining potting mix in a container with drainage holes.

Humidity: Moderate humidity is generally suitable. If growing in a terrarium, provide appropriate airflow and monitor moisture carefully to prevent excessive dampness.

Feeding: During active growth in spring and summer, use a balanced houseplant fertilizer diluted according to its label.

GROWING YOUR STRING OF TURTLES

This miniature plant is especially appealing for small-space gardening and collections of unusual foliage plants. As it grows, its stems may trail over the edge of a pot, creating a delicate cascading effect. Growth rate and trailing length depend on light, temperature, and care.

Small greenish-white flower spikes may appear under suitable conditions, but flowering is not guaranteed.
