Growing and Care Tips

Sunlight: Provide a sunny location with several hours of direct light. Introduce young plants to stronger sun gradually if they have been growing in shade.

Watering: Keep the root zone evenly moist during establishment without leaving the roots in waterlogged soil. Water more often during hot, dry weather and adjust based on rainfall and soil drainage.

Soil: Use fertile, well-draining soil. Avoid locations where water regularly pools around the roots.

Support: Passion fruit vines climb and benefit from a sturdy trellis, fence, or other suitable support.

Temperature: These are warm-climate plants. Protect young vines from frost and prolonged cold, and check local growing conditions before planting outdoors.

Growth and fruiting: Growth rate, flowering, and fruit production depend on variety, climate, plant maturity, pollination, and care. Fruit is not guaranteed within a particular timeframe.
